Overview

Responsible for overseeing the multi-state licensing and carrier appointment processes, support general compliance team functions.  

Responsibilities

Hiring locations: Florida, Georgia, Texas, Wisconsin

 

Essential Duties: 

  • Proactively manage and complete the nationwide health carrier appointment and agency/agent licensing processes. For this function you will:
    • Track and maintain state insurance licenses and ensuring compliance with applicable state laws and regulations.
    • Research individual market carriers and requirements, coordinate execution of carrier contracts and requirements, track carrier appointments statuses, and maintain information regarding ongoing contractual requirements.
    • Support various Salelytics teams by serving as the subject matter expert for licensing and carrier appointments.
    • Assist with research of individual insurance marketplaces nationwide, including the tracking of compliance and training requirements.
  • Prepare and submit data for Salelytics reporting.
  • Manage multiple concurrent tasks and projects.
  • Work with other team members on the maintenance and day-to-day operations of Salelytics compliance program and workforce training program. In this function, you will:
    • Assist with monitoring and tracking new and emerging regulatory requirements that may impact the business.
    • Collaborate with other teams within Salelytics to advise on compliance questions and issues that arise in the course of business.
    • Maintain cooperative, responsive, respective, and positive relationships with internal teams and external contacts.
  • Responsible for properly using, maintaining, and returning upon request any company equipment and assets issued by Salelytics.

 

Mental and Physical Requirements:

  • This position will be exposed mainly to an indoor office environment and will be expected to work near or around computers
  • The nature of the work in this position is sedentary and the incumbent will be sitting most of the time
  • Essential physical functions include typing, grasping, and repetitive motions to utilize general computer software/hardware throughout the workday

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 2 years’ experience in the healthcare/benefits/insurance industry required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience required, preferably in insurance, healthcare, compliance, legal, or related field
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to embrace change with optimism and a problem-solving mentality
  • Very strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills that result in clear and concise language appropriate for the intended audience
